Flower Keyholder

Thanks to The Yellow Brick Lifestyle for this next one; a pretty paper flower keyholder. I always, always forget my keys. They end up in drawers, on the floor, underneath my homework...you get the idea. This was simple to make and will (hopefully) be useful!

Materials: cardstock/scrapbook paper or pages from a book that you didn't find as riveting as Oprah did, wire hanger, "Krylon Make It Last Clear Sealer", stapler, and a nail. :)

(Again, sorry for the image quality. Getting my new camera s-o-o-n!)

Peep Peep, Hooray!

For my family, Easter is all about dessert. In fact, just one dessert.

It's all about the Jello Easter eggs. But, let's face it: it's more about the novelty than the actual taste. We still love the tradition, but the number of us still willing to eat them are dwindling!

The solution? This super cute idea from Love From The Oven.

What You'll Need

For the chicks: Rice Krispie treat, vanilla frosting, coconut flakes (dyed green), jelly beans and of course the Peep.
For the bunnies: Rice Krispie treat, vanilla frosting, sprinkles and the Peep (cut in half!)

Here's how ours turned out! Excuse the quality.

30 Day Photo Challenge.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon a little late, but I figured this would be a good way to re-introduce myself to Blogger.

Day 1; post a picture of yourself with ten facts.

I am a freshman at Arizona State University, as a Social Work major, Nonprofit Administration minor. I am a waitress at IHOP. My favorite color is yellow! Drug of choice = Diet Pepsi or Diet A&W. I've been skydiving (and would go again)! I love country music, roller-coasters and photography. I have one tattoo, inspired by John Green's Paper Towns. My favorite movies are Jurassic Park and Dirty Dancing. I love sewing and creating my own clothes/accessories (but haven't done it in a long time). My family is very important to me; I live with Mom and Dad, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 Betta fish, 1 snail and a hermit crab. :)

Day Two: a picture of you and the person you're currently closest with.

*Cheesy alert*. I'd have to say the person I'm closest to right now is my boyfriend, Ryan. We've been dating for a little more than a year. I know he's always there for me and he knows me inside and out. <3

Day Three: a picture of the cast from your favorite show.

When I was little, my Mom would let me watch Friends with her while she was combing my hair. I didn't get the jokes back then, but it was "our" time. (Which is hard to come by when you have five siblings fighting for attention.) I still enjoy it to this day and can quote full episodes with my best friend. :)
